Safety circuits
- Engine and test cell safety ensured by hardware
monitoring of critical channels :-
- Engine Over-speed
- Oil Pressure
- Oil in Temperature
- Oil Out Temperatures
- Any monitored channel can be assigned a computer controlled warning, soft and hard stop action ( Up to 64 Channels )
- Cell protection by ventilation fire dampers and directional fire extinguisher system

Fuel system
- EXAC continuous flow measurements
- AVL spot measuring through header tank
- Feeds for both high and low fuel pressure systems
- Dry break couplings for feed and return lines
- Safety cut off valves for supply to the cell and immediately before engine
- Electronic heavy vapour detectors in cell
Air Supply and Ventilation
- Inlet cooling air through directional vertical towers providing complete flow over engine and exhaust to high level extraction achieving 12 air changes per minute
- Barometric sensors, humidity sensors and temperature sensors computer linked to achieve corrected results
- Computer controlled cold air supply direct to inlet induction if required
- Spot cooler facilities for turbos and intercoolers
- Exhaust extraction through rear wall allowing exhaust lengths of up to 3 meters
- Gasses into silencing / dilution chamber before exiting to atmosphere

Engine Water and Oil Cooling
- Engine water cooling by sealed Bowman header tank with full configurable temperature and pressure monitoring, this enables us to predict potential problems such as head gasket failure
- Engine Oil cooling by full flow Bowman with configurable temperature control
- Either dry sump system with return filtration to tank or wet sump from engine with sandwich plate and through remote filtration
- Return feed manifolds incorporating –16, -12, -10 JIC fittings
- Both Bowman's linked to real time screen display
Electrical Power Supply
- High capacity battery 12 volt supply with continuous charging
- 13.4 Volt stabilised supply via computer linked switching
- Additional single and three phase mains supplies computer controlled for auxiliary applications eg. Spot cooling fans
