Le Mans Legends 2009

The disappointment of having to withdraw the Aston Martin DBR1 from the Legends race due to an engine issue was lessened after the fine performance of both
Ferrari’s.
The 246S driven by Tony Dron finished 3rd overall and 1st in class.
The 206 Dino driven by Harry Leventis also finished 1st in class and 10th overall.
Aston Martin DBR1
returns to Le Mans

This famous historic race car maintained and prepared
by ourselves since 1992 will now be readied for a return
to Le Mans.
50 years after Aston Martins historic victory
the car will compete in a 45min race on Sat 13th June hours
before the start of the 77th Le Mans 24hr.
Alongside the Aston Martin we will also be running a 1960 Ferrari 246S
and a 1964 Ferrari 206 .

The Le Mans winning Aston Martin DBR1 added another
victory to its resume at the AMOC flagship event The
St John Horsfall Meeting.
In the AMOC historic championship race the car driven by Nick Leventis qualified
In pole position and led throughout .
Aston Martin DBR4
Wins at VSCC Silverstone25.04.2009
After
a winter overhaul including gearbox and engine
rebuilds, The Aston Martin DBR4 prepared by ourselves
took to the track in the hands of Richard Attwood for
the Rothschild and Lindsay Trophies Race at the VSCC
'Spring Start' meeting.
The start saw the two very fast ERA's of Mark Gillies
and Mac Hulbert take the lead, but Richard just settled
down and used the power and smooth handling of the DBR4
to reel them in. Richard is known for his race tactics
and paced himself behind Gillies until he made his move
on lap 8 and went on to win the race with a gap of 0.25s
and a best lap time of 1:06.93s.

Over
the winter months, the company moved from its old
location at Poundon to a new complex near Banbury.
With new larger custom built areas for engine and gearbox work,
larger well equipped machine shop and workshop we are
still able to offer our usual excellent services in
these new improved facilities.
Ferrari 330 LMB Wins Goodwood TT

In
an historic victory the Ferrari 330 LMB prepared by
ourselves and driven by Peter Hardman and Bobby Verdon
Roe won the 2008 Goodwood Revival RAC TT Celebration.
We have attended every Revival with numerous cars
achieving podium results and winning races, but until
this year the TT has eluded us.
Our thanks to all involved in helping achieve Ferrari's
first Goodwood TT win since 1964.
